Widely-used Dyslexia Adult Checklist may be too rigorous in its definition of who qualifies as dyslexic

The neurobiological and developmental learning disorder dyslexia possibly affects up to 15% of the population, but it remains difficult, time-consuming and expensive to accurately diagnose. Screening tools, especially online checklists, can help individuals self-evaluate risk factors, but few if any have been scientifically validated until now.
