In a serious escalation of unrest at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, MBBS and BDS students have accused the institute’s Director of mental harassment and abuse, including allegedly asking students to “dance naked, commit suicide” and threatening to “hang them.”Shocked and outraged, students staged a large protest march from the All Manipur Students’ Union Office at DM Campus, demanding the immediate removal of the Director, along with the Dean and Sub-Dean.
